Why it works
The tape guides your lips closed. Mouth shut, air stops taking the open-mouth route, the tongue and throat stop vibrating. Less turbulence, less noise. Stop mouth snoring.
The HAP 1-2-3 Protocol
-
1. Open Your Nose
If you're congested, seal your lips over a blocked nose and you'll just breathe harder through it. Apply a nose strip first, or do the Nose Unblocking Exercise.
-
2. Seal Your Lips
Apply the mouth tape across closed lips. Feels strange the first night. Gone by night 3.
-
3. Breathe Light
Jaw unclenched, tongue on the roof of your mouth, slow nasal breaths.
Before you buy
This won't fix nose snoring on its own. If your nose is blocked, open it first.
If you have diagnosed sleep apnea, see a doctor. This isn't a CPAP replacement.
Feels strange the first night. Most people stop noticing it by night 3 or 4.
FAQs
Is mouth taping safe?
Yes, for most adults. The tape guides your lips closed, it doesn't seal them shut. If you can't breathe comfortably through your nose, fix that first before taping your mouth.
Who is mouth tape is not for?
Not for children under 16. Avoid if you have nasal congestion, BMI over 35, sleep apnea, asthma, heart or breathing conditions, cold, sinus or ear infections, broken or irritated skin around the mouth, or a history of reflux or vomiting. Avoid after alcohol or sedatives. Discontinue if you experience discomfort, difficulty breathing, or skin sensitivity.
How long until I see results?
You'll feel the difference within two weeks, quieter breathing, better sleep. Fully retraining your body to nose breathe automatically takes 3 to 6 months.
Can I use just the tape, without the nose strip?
Depends on your snoring type. Mouth snorers can start with tape alone. If you're also congested, or unsure, use both.
Is the adhesive safe for sensitive skin?
Yes, medical-grade hypoallergenic. Test on a small patch first if you're prone to reactions.
How to wear mouth tape?
Best way to start mouth taping?
Day 1:Try it for 30 minutes during the day, get used to wearing it.
Day 2:Wear 30 mins before bedtime, if comfortable sleep with it.
Day 3-4:Most people get used to it, otherwise, repeat day 2.

Built by someone who needed it
I was a habitual mouth breather, always tired, always waking up with a dry throat. I tried a nose strip and taped my mouth. First night, I slept through. I built HAP to make that fix available to everyone still fighting for air at 2 AM."
