Best sleep ever... #HAPKids

Why it works

A blocked nose forces a child to switch to mouth breathing. Dry mouth, restless tossing, snoring, waking up tired. It's not a sleep problem. It's an airflow problem.

The strip lifts the sides of the nostrils open, the same way you'd hold them open with your fingers. Wider passage, less resistance, easier breathing. No drug, no spray.

48 x 18mm. Sized for kids 5 and up, and adults with smaller nose bridges. Not sure it fits? Check sizing.

  • 1. Open Your Nose

Apply the strip to clean, dry skin. Press for 5 seconds.

  • 2. Still blocked? Do this.

The strip opens the airway. It doesn't clear a genuine cold or allergy blockage. If they're still stuffed, do the Nose Unblocking Exercise before bed.

  • 3. Breathe light

Jaw unclenched, tongue on the roof of your mouth, slow nasal breaths.

Before you buy

If your child is under 5, this isn't the right fit yet. Wait until they're older.

If they're genuinely stuffed up from a cold or allergies, the strip alone won't reach it. Pair it with the Nose Unblocking Exercise. You need both.

Not sure a nose strip is the right fix? Take the Blocked Nose Quiz.

FAQs

How long until we see results?

Most parents notice a difference within two weeks, less tossing, quieter breathing, easier mornings. The habit itself, nose breathing as the automatic default, takes 3 to 6 months of consistent nightly use.

My child hates things on their face. Will they keep it on?

Let them handle it before bedtime, apply it themselves if they're old enough. Most kids adapt within 3 to 5 nights.

Is the adhesive safe for sensitive skin?

Yes, medical-grade hypoallergenic. Test on a small patch of cheek first if they have eczema or reactive skin.

Can I reuse the strip?

No. Single-use. One night, one tape, one strip. Dispose and move on.

My boy seems breathe better but he felt not comfortable, about 20mins he asked me removed it

We are glad to hear your boy was breathing better with the HAP Nose Strip! It is common for children to need a little time to adjust to the sensation of the strip physically lifting the nasal passages.

Since you were taking a flight, his discomfort could have been influenced by several factors, including changes in cabin pressure or the general stress of travel. To help him adjust, we recommend trying the strip for short periods during the day or during a relaxing activity before his next trip. This helps 'retrain the breath' and makes the sensation feel more natural. Please reach out to us directly if you have any other questions!

Never again

I bought this because my son complains of stuffy blocked nose once in a while and can’t sleep. I used it for the first time last night and safe to say, I won’t be using it again. It didn’t work for my son and he still complained of blocked nose. But that wasn’t the worst part, when I had to remove it in the morning he screamed and cried badly. Even after applying some oil to facilitate the removal it was still very painful for his delicate skin at the nose. I do not recommend and won’t be using it again.

We’re so sorry to hear about your son’s experience. While HAP Nose Strips physically lift the nasal passages to improve airflow, they aren't a 'magic pill' for all types of congestion, especially if the blockage is deeper in the sinuses. Please do try the Nasal Decongestion Exercise to clear deeper congestion.

Regarding the removal, we are truly sorry it was painful for his delicate skin. We always recommend thoroughly saturating the strip with warm water for several minutes to completely break the adhesive bond before gently peeling it away. Please reach out to us directly so we can make this right for you.

It was a surprise!

My boy has been breathing through his mouth for very long. Esp when he lies down on his pillow, he will keep complaining his nose is blocked. Immediately after putting on the nose strip, he says he can breathe. I am already noticing that he falls asleep easier and without needing to prop up his pillows.

Thanks for sharing! Super glad that it's helping your boy sleep better.

Nasal Congestion

My child has a sensitive nose (nasal allergies). He used to get nasal congestion often when sleeping at night and couldn't sleep well. After using Hap, his sleep quality improved, and I rarely hear the sound of nasal congestion anymore. My child really likes Hap. Thank you, Hap!

too sticky for children skin, it peel off skin

The adhesive is too strong for children’s skin. After only one use, it peeled some skin off my son’s nose and left noticeable red marks.

My son felt that the strip could have helped him

My son felt that the strip may have helped him breathe better during his sleep.
One thing he didn’t like is the removal.
It is difficult to peel off in the morning and it is rather painful to do so.

It works wonders!

My boy has been having nasal congestion for many years. And we relied a lot on meds. But with this, we stopped our antihistamine ! And he sleeps better now.

Thanks for sharing the positive experience with our Kids Nose Strips. Awesome to hear that it helped your son with his nasal congestion and has reduce the use of medication. We hope he continues to sleep better, and eventually retrain his breath to say goodbye to HAP.

No difference

Been using for my son for his sinusitis so he can breathe better at night- there has been no difference. Also painful to remove. I guess it’s very subjective and depends on individual.

Hi Darina,

Sorry to learn about your son's experience.
Do DM us, so we can make it right for you.

For those suffering from sinusitis, we have a helpful and detailed article about why it happens and how to fix it.
Nose strips are not a cure, it's a support tool.

HAPS small kids

Helpful for my boy. Wish the strip can still be a bit smaller for toddler.

We are glad HAP Nose Strips were helpful for your boy! Since toddlers can sometimes be too small for the strips, we recommend focusing on encouraging them to keep their mouth closed while breathing during the day and night to help retrain their breath naturally. Thanks again for your feedback.
