NGL ... Before you add to cart!

The strip mechanically opens the nasal airway. Most kids feel the difference immediately.

But if your child is genuinely stuffed up from a cold, allergies, or sinusitis, the blockage is deeper than the strip can reach alone. The strip holds the airway open. The Nasal Decongestion Exercise clears what's blocking it. You need both.

The 2-Minute Rule: After the exercise, if your child can breathe clearly through their nose for 2 minutes, they're ready for the night. The strip then keeps that airway open while they sleep.

If your child is under 5, this isn't the right fit yet. Wait until they're older.

Still here? Good. Let's fix the bedtime.

Best sleep ever... #HAPKids

What's Actually Happening At Night?

Why Your Child Breathes Through Their Mouth

When a child's nose is blocked, their body will switch to mouth breathing. That means: dry mouth, restless sleep, snoring, waking up at 3 AM, and a tired, foggy kid the next morning.

It's not a sleep problem. It's a breathing problem.

The HAP Kids Nose Strip gently lifts the sides of your child's nostrils, the same way you'd hold them open with your fingers. The airway widens. Resistance drops. Breathing quiets down.

No drug. No spray.

The HAP 1-2-3 "Bedtime" Routine

  • 1. Apply the Strip

Clean your child's nose with a wet wipe. Dry it completely.
Oily skin = strip that won't stick. Don't skip this.
Peel the backing. Place across the nose bridge. Press firmly for 5 seconds.
    They'll feel the airway open.

  • 2. Decongestion Exercise (Do This If Still Blocked)

Still congested after the strip? Do this Nasal Decongestion Exercise before they sleep.

Do it with them the first few nights. It works, but only if you actually do it.

  • 3. Breathe light, sleep restfully

Mouth gently closed. Tongue resting on the roof of the mouth.

    Slow, quiet nasal breaths.
This is the habit you're building. Give it 5 minutes to settle. It gets easier every night.

How to Remove the Strip?

(Read This First) Don't rip it off.

The adhesive that holds through 8 hours of sleep is the same one that stings if you rush removal. Warm water dissolves it completely. This takes 60 seconds. It's always worth it.

Every morning:

  1. Wet a washcloth with warm water. Hold it over the strip for 30 seconds. Or let your child splash their face during morning wash... same effect.
  2. Peel slowly from one edge. Pull flat against the skin, not upwards.
  3. Still stubborn? A drop of baby oil or coconut oil on the edge dissolves the adhesive.

If they're fussing, stop. More water. Wait ten more seconds. Try again.
  • How long until we see results?

Most parents notice a real difference within the first two weeks, less tossing, quieter breathing, easier mornings. Full habit change, where nose breathing becomes their automatic default, takes 3 to 6 months of consistent nightly use. Consistency is the only shortcut.

  • My child hates things on their face. Will they keep it on?

Let them handle the strip before bedtime. Let them apply it themselves if they're old enough, ownership helps. Most kids adapt within 3–5 nights. Some take a week. Stick with it.

  • It didn't work the first night. Should I return it?

One night tells you very little. Nasal breathing is a habit, not a switch. Use it every night for at least two weeks before drawing conclusions. If they're still congested, make sure you're doing the decongestion exercise, the strip alone can't clear a blocked sinus.

  • Is the adhesive safe for sensitive skin?

Yes, medical-grade hypoallergenic adhesive. If your child has eczema or particularly reactive skin, test on a small patch of their cheek first. And always use the warm water removal method above, it's gentler on delicate skin.

  • Can I reuse a strip?

No. One strip, one night. Dispose and move on.

  • Can I use adult strips on my child?

If your child is older and has a larger nose bridge, the adult nose strip (60 x 22 mm) might fit. Otherwise, using an oversized nose strip won't lift the nose correctly.
