Three Habits Cleared My Blocked Nose.

No spray. No surgery. No drugs.

I was "The Tissue Boy."

Chronic sinusitis, daily antihistamines, a blocked nose every single night.
My ENT said surgery or meds for life.
I chose neither.

Then I tried this...

I'm Edwin. Certified Buteyko Breathing Instructor. Founder of HAP.

I didn't find a new drug. I found nose strips & a breathing method.

The nose strips helped me breathe clearer for the first time.

The Buteyko Method taught me that chronic mouth breathing and over-breathing are what keep nasal congestion stuck. Your body is designed to breathe through your nose, but years of bad habits override that default.

The fix: Nose strip + Breathing
Three habits to retrain your breathing.

The 3 habits that changed everything.

Habit 1

Open Your Nose

Apply a HAP Nose Strip before bed.
It lifts the sides of your nostrils open, the same way you'd hold them with your fingers.
The nasal airway widens. Resistance drops. Breathing gets easier.

Habit 2

The Nose Unblocking Exercise

Still blocked even with the strip? This is the game-changer.

Pinch your nose. Nod your head 10 times while holding your breath. Release. Breathe gently through your nose.

It sounds strange. It works.

Holding your breath briefly raises CO₂, which signals your nasal blood vessels to dilate. Congestion shifts. The airway opens. No spray required.

This is a Buteyko technique. I use it every day.

Habit 3

Breathe Light

Mouth closed. Tongue on the roof of your mouth. Slow, quiet, nasal breaths.

This is the one most people skip — and it's the most important.

Chronic mouth breathing keeps your CO₂ tolerance low, which keeps your nasal passages inflamed, which keeps your nose blocked. It's a cycle.

Breathe light. Break the cycle.
3 to 6 months of this habit and nasal breathing becomes automatic.

Nine months later.

No daily antihistamines.
No nasal spray.
No more waking up blocked.

I sleep through the night. I breathe through my nose. I wake up with energy instead of a tissue.

That's three habits, done consistently.

Is HAP right for your blocked nose? (Honest answer)

Yes, HAP will help if:

  • Your nose is blocked at night from congestion, allergies, or rhinitis
  • You're relying on nasal spray and want to stop
  • You breathe through your mouth at night
  • You have mild structural issue

HAP won't fix it if:

  • You have a severe structural issue (deviated septum, enlarged turbinates). See a doctor first.
  • You have moderate to severe sleep apnea. This is not a CPAP replacement.
  • You have an active sinus infection. Treat the infection first

Not sure if HAP is right for your situation?

Your nose was made for breathing.

Let's get it back to doing its job.
